ABOUT
ABOUT Me & my work
I studied at Central Saint Martins before spending 15 years living and working in the London. During this time, I built a strong foundation in art direction, production, and creative work as a producer in leading agencies. Eventually, I took the leap to pursue my passion as a full-time freelance artist. Since then, I’ve enjoyed a varied and rewarding career, from painting large-scale murals for Carnaby Street to crafting bespoke lettering for high-end fashion and beauty brands around the world. My work has been featured in exhibitions at Somerset House, Jealous Gallery, and Protein Studios, as well as being displayed in galleries and independent stores.
In 2018, after welcoming my first child, I relocated to Kent, where I now live with my husband, two young sons, and our pug. My artistic journey continues between my home studio and a studio space in the beautiful Ashdown Forest, allowing me to balance my creative practice with family life.
The birth of my second child in 2022 brought about a profound shift in my artistic direction. While my earlier work focused on enamel lettering and traditional gold leaf, I’ve transitioned to oil painting - a change that has felt both liberating and revitalising. This new medium has inspired me to explore a wider range of subjects, particularly the beauty of nature. Flowers, birds, and fungi with vivid colours and intricate textures have become my focus, sparking endless curiosity and excitement within my work.
Living a more intentional, mindful life has deepened my connection to nature, providing endless inspiration for my art. Managing a chronic health condition alongside motherhood has further encouraged me to streamline my practice, creating work that reflects my passions while maintaining balance and well-being.
My latest collection merges my love for lettering with my newfound exploration of natural subjects. Some of the pieces are complemented by a curated selection of antique gilt frames I’ve collected over the years, showcasing my deep appreciation for interiors. It also includes a collection of works on paper, allowing me to explore and expand on my new found direction. This new chapter in my creative journey excites me, and I hope you’ll join me in exploring this evolution.
