ABOUT Me...

I studied at Central Saint Martins before spending 15 years living and working in London. During this time, I built a strong foundation in art direction, production and creative work as a producer in leading agencies. Eventually, I took the leap to pursue my passion as a full-time freelance artist. Since then, I’ve enjoyed a varied and rewarding career, from painting large-scale murals for Carnaby Street to creating bespoke lettering for high-end fashion and beauty brands around the world. My work has been exhibited at Somerset House and The Other Art Fair, and more recently featured on the London Underground as part of Art Below.

In 2018, after welcoming my first child, I relocated to Kent, where I now live with my husband, two young sons and our pug. My artistic journey continues between my home studio and a studio space in the beautiful Ashdown Forest, allowing me to balance my creative practice with family life.

The birth of my second child in 2022 brought about a profound shift in my artistic direction. While my earlier work focused on enamel lettering and traditional gold leaf, I transitioned to oil painting – a change that felt both liberating and revitalising. This new medium led me towards the natural world, particularly flowers, birds and fungi, whose vivid colours, intricate textures and constant cycles of growth and change continue to inspire my work.

Living a more intentional life has deepened my connection to nature, but increasingly my work is also influenced by the experience of living life in cycles. I’m drawn to the natural fluctuations between periods of growth and depletion, energy and rest, and how these rhythms are reflected in the natural world. These ideas have gradually become an important thread running through my work.

My recent paintings bring together my love of natural subjects, particularly florals and fungi. I will integrate words with imagery to explore these shifting states and the idea of living between them. Some pieces are complemented by a curated selection of antique gilt frames I’ve collected over the years, reflecting my deep appreciation for interiors and the relationship between artwork and the spaces we live in.
